Hey guys new forum user from Madera in the central valley. I run a springer spaniel on the dove fields, Ca& mtn quail, chukar, grouse, ban tailed pigeons, pheasants, and rabbits. Hope to get to know you guys and some day meet some new hunting buddies. |

hey im in the bay area looking for a good spot to go or with someone. i have a 6 month old GSP, got his 1st pheasant yesterday. would love to know where i can take him for anything dock goose, chucker, pheasant, quail, ect...

Hello,
I've been looking for some decent pheasant hunting within reasonable driving distance to So Cal. A couple friends have tried out some place a few hours drive to mid/northern CA but were pretty dissapointed with the sluggish birds and poor cover. My short hairs are
pretty good and would love something I can drive to in CA. Recently heard of a fairly new outfit in El Centro I think from 3 guys at work who had a great experience there. capheasanthunts.com I think. Anybody tried them? |
