    Hi my name is Paul and I am new to the site. I live about 40min south of Chicago and was woundering if someone knows of free places to hunt? I am also willing to travel reasonable distances. Also I noticed that there are some hunting and shooting clubs near by. Does any one have any advice on this matter? Thanks!

    Truckie41, welcome to the site. You can always go to the Illinois DNR website and look for public land. You can also drive around rural areas and knock on some doors to get on some land. Regarding game farms, we have some useful tabs at the top of the page that might help you out. Good luck.
