One of our staff writers just posted a new article on Labs Vs. Pointers. I would love to hear your comments on the age old debate:

I would say after reading the article, Mr. Olson, must be a Lab owner. He is going to get comments about the ability of pointing breeds to retrieve. Many pointing breeds will retrieve just as well as a lab. To me this is a topic that falls into the same type of argument as a Ford Vs. Chevy. He does say it what the individual prefers, which is my view on the subject. I will admit, I am a Brittany hunter and have been for 45 years......Bob |

I prefer a German Shorthaired Pointer as my hunting dog of choice.

Bob, you and I both know the truth here. He didn't mention the Brittany, that would be like comparing a high school quarterback against a Pro QB. |

For some reason I knew Bob would be the first to cause trouble in this tread. Just kidding Bob, remember.......nothings free. I've had pointers in the past but I like Labs now because they fit my style of hunting much better. |

Bryan, that is what makes the world go round. I love Brits you love your Cocker. That is perfect, everybody cannot have the same taste, likes or dislikes. This world would be a very dull place to live if we did.......Bob |
