In case anyone is planning on hitting  Southwest Nebraska for the opening weekend...  Placed a phone call to local contacts...  Currently blizzard conditions. Had been raining since Wed, but now the rain has turned into snow, with strong winds. County roads are a muddy mess, with some impassable. Expecting snow through Friday.

And, with the rain, the corn is mostly in the fields yet. Maybe over a week of good weather before they will be able to attempt the harvest. So, I know my plans have changed...  Now just have to figure out plan B.
