    I will be taking  my pup Moses (still a pup at 1 year old) to a north Ga. pheasant farm tomorrow his older 3/4 brother Boss and maybe his mother Rose. Steve a nieghbor and friend (owner of Boss and Rose) is looking forward to seeing Moses work on pheasants ,the last time we worked the dogs together Moses was just 3 months old, at that point he showed that he had a lot of bird in him. I am looking forward to having Moses work with a well trained lab as he has only been in the field with pointing dogs and 2 very average labs in S.D.. We will have 10 birds to start with may add more if need be. I know this is not S.D. hunting, but when in Ga. you do what you can!!! I know we will have fun working the dogs on pheasants. It will be our first time at this pheasant farm, so we will see how it goes!!!

    Good time was had by all!! dog work was very good
    the field we hunted was a littel small for the 8 birds we put out, birds were a little to close together, still a great day shotting pheasants, working dogs ,and spending the day with a buddy than setting in front of the tv !!! sorry no pics

    markvan, great news that the hunt went well. I couldn't agree more on the better time out than in front of a tv.
