    THANKS all!..   once she saw us, she didn't hang around for long. Just grunted at the cubs and moved back off into the oakbrush.. Just the way I like 'em to.

       She showed "respect" for human presence. They were about 100 yards from the house, across the creek on the hill. I won't allow them much closer than that, without it becoming an "unpleasant" experience for 'em..   A bear that becomes too accustomed, comfortable, with humans is a 'problem' bear.

    Those are great photos. What state are you in? It looks like the type of terrain and wildlife you see up here in the Rocky Mountains in Canada.
    Hope they don't hang around too long might mess up your bird hunting.

    Brady.. I'm in Colorado.. the "Heart of the Rockies".. Not much fear of them 'messing up' my bird hunting. I have "no" birds to speak of, a few doves early in the season, and a few grouse here 'n there. But primarily, I have to travel to hunt.

    I'm only about 45 minutes from the Rocky Mountains in Alberta Canada..........the country looked very familiar.........
