    Our pheasant season here in Wisconsin is over.  Still got another month of grouse hunting but I'd like to shoot some bunnies too.  Anybody getting into the snowshoes yet?  We haven't had a lot of snow this year so I'd guess they would be at a distinct disadvantage.  I don't have beagles... just my flushing dog.  Probably just be shooting them as I walk up on them.  Any advice?

    Been a few years since I've hunted snowshoes but, yeah in a winter like this they are going to stand out like sore thumbs in the woods. The disadvantage you will have is that they will hear you coming and there won't be any tracks to follow if there isn't any snow. Check thick brambles and briars and look for white!
