We did some fishing on the Umpqua this 4th of July weekend and did pretty good. Caught a 3 pound small mouth bass! The river is still high and not as warm as it should be this time of year. We also caught some silvers too. Father’s day weekend we fished some of the cascade lakes around Oakridge and did great. Just rainbows but good size. I have been hearing a few people are catching salmon and steelhead out of the Willamette and the McKenzie. They say it's the best they have seen in years.
