    looking for public access around  grove city kansas.....anyone hunt in that area recently...where can a dad and his son find wild birds and easy access?? or at least very reasonable pricing = 100/ day / gun

    the KDWP, (Kansas dept. of wildlife and parks) has a downloadable pdf file that has all of the CRP "walkin" areas and public hunting areas marked. It isn't the very best map, and finding/following it is a tad difficult, but it helps a BUNCH. The roads aren't marked well on the map, you kinda' got to 'count' the mile roads.
    Most any place that sells licenses will have the maps in print, too. Lotsa' walkin acess in gove county

    hmmmm.. I have an older Garmin, a "GPS V". Is your software compatible? downloadable to that unit?
    I didn't see the walkin/KWD in paper/hardback, are they available?
    Also wondering about accuracy, since I've noticed over the years, that the "walk in" status of some areas changes from year to year.
