    So how is everyone doing Early goose hunting?

     

    I managed a double pass shooting before work the other day, one was double leg banded even.  Great way to start the season.

    Locals are giving me the slip so far.  They have changed there patterns on the ponds this last week.  Dog is in heat also.   So far it is a bust on 2 trips.

    Broke the ice. Bagged one. Answered the question can a 30# English Cocker retreive a 11.5 Goose? Yes, sort of. She struggled in the 4 foot water 20 feet off the bank but she got it in.

    Went duck hunting in Southern PA Saturday.

    Saw 3 ducks (flew in, flew out) saw probably 30 geese but it wouldn't be goose season for us here until middle of November.... I can't wait though!
