lead and steel in choke tubes ?

    i use # 6 shot lead with a modiefied choke for pheasant. what is the same in shooting steel shot. does anyone now the formula. if your shooting lead to steel in chokes

    I think the rule of thumb is that steel will need to be 2 sizes bigger than lead and the choke will need to be one size wider. The best answer is to pattern it.
