“Rebel” is a one year old neutered male, just over 50lbs and 24” at the shoulder. He is a purebred AKC registered solid liver German Shorthaired Pointer out of German and American bloodlines. “Rebel” is a close-to-medium range working dog with excellent nose and instinct. “Rebel” is a social dog that prefers to be with his people than being left home, it makes him a wonderful dog in the field or in the house with strangers. He is great around kids, and has always lived indoors. He has a lively personality which goes hand-in-hand with his age.
“Rebel” is a natural retriever, has been collar conditioned, and is micro-chipped and neutered. He has completed his AKC Junior Hunter (JH) title (my personal test to know how the dogs run). He has been shot over and completed numerous retrieves and has solid points. He will back if instructed, and is whoa-broke. He is steady to wing-shot-kill. Has to be polished to be considered a 'finished dog'. A young dog with a lot of promise.
Past few weeks, "Rebel" has been worked with ducks and dead ducks. Retrieves and hunts wounded birds in water; will make excellent waterfowl dog come fall with more work.
Papers and Pedigree will be given upon new ownership, up-to-date on shots.
Rebel was neutered in the middle of May 2009.
ASKING $1700 for him now, before hunting season begins.
