I breed and train or I wouldn't have that many. I got 2 more EP's last night that I had shipped in from Missouri. Oh Ya I got a litter of really nice lab pups to if you want to make the leap to the other side.

It's not a pointer their labs that point my buddie has a cow dog that points to. My Pointing Labs point but they also flush. It looks very un-stylish but they hold good and your not having to try to keep up with them or call them back to keep them in gun range. The ones I run are built like hounds and are 55 to 75 lbs so they can run all day and swim the Snake River to.

ahaha bob agress with me in yoh face ed ahaha jp. i really like the idea of having a dog that would hunt ducks too. i hate leaving my setter home in january =(. maybe in the early part of november i could take her jump shooting with me. i guess i would have to keep her at heel whoa her when i am ready to shoot?? any suggestions, man this thread got me thinking now lol.

LLew I had a Brittany once that would swim anytime, break ice, you name it. She didn't care and when I would get down on my belly to crawl into a pothole, she would get on hers and crawl right with me. My wife and I were out of town and somebody stole her out of her outside kennel. Who says they don't know when the best time to steal one is.........Bob

thats sad bob. i cant imagine having someone do that to my dog. she goes in the bays when we pheasant hunt and they are freezing so i think she could handle the ponds when we go after those early november woodducks. my only problem is A. her coat is white and B. when she goes in teh bays when we pheasant hunt she gets to run around and she drys off very quickly i dont know what would happen is i had her sit still, im worried about her freezing.

Llew did it many long years ago with a GSP. He got a lung infection and when we got it cleared up. He was left with a hacking cough when ever the weather was cold and rainy. In Minnesota, that is not good. The cough never went away either......Bob
