I use aspirin to help with the pain and then just give the dog some light work outs for a few days. Tony usually bounces back before I think he should.......Bob

I give my dog a baby aspirin before we hunt and then glucosamine and condoitin (sp) treats after. I'll also give her another aspirin after if she looks like she's having a tough go of it.

I have always used the baby asprin as well, just wanted to see if anyone out there is using something that also works.  The pup came up lame two days ago but the asprin is working well.  Gave her a lite water workout tonight.  We are going to go goose hunting tomorrow morning and get some doves in the evening.  Had to work today.

Pork, I see you and I think a lot alike. I do the same. I carry the treats and the aspirin in the SUV and give them to Tony along with the big drink of water at the end of the hunt. Would you believe today on that grouse hunt Tony ran me out of water for him. I carry a quart in my vest and he done drained it.......Bob
