New member to the forum. Looking for Pheasant hunting here on the west side. Haven't hunted any of the bird perserves here, just the local release sites like Fort Lewis, Skookumchuck, Scatter creek. Looking to possiably go over to the east side for a hunt in the Ellensburg area. Have considered perserves over there but agin have never hunted on one. Anyone interested? Thanks!!!

Ira, welcome to the fourm. We have several Washington hunters here on the forum (3 that have already responded to your post). You might be able to find a partner with them or check out the Washington hunting section. Good luck and it's great to have you around.

I hunted a day in Ellensburg over Christmas break and got into a fair number of quail, however, pheasants were hard to come by. The Snake River between L. Goose and L. Monumental might be your best bet for pheasants as I have been seeing a few when I am down that way for work. Good luck.
