Sierra Mountain Brittanys located in Reno, Nevada is expecting a litter of quality Brittany puppies March 26, 2010.  These pups will be dual registered with the American Kennel Club and Field Dog Stud Book.

These puppies will be serious bird dogs for serious hunters.  Dam is NNV Rebel's Blazn Lil MissFire JH (Bang)  Bang was awarded American Brittany Club's 2009 Western Regoin Gun Dog Futurity Winner and Dual Dog Award Winner.  She has multiple field trial and show placements. She has also earned her Junior Hunter title and is well on her way to a Senior Hunter Title.  Bang is a natural retriever, has a natural honor and a very snappy, forward ground speed.  It is a pleasure to watch her run and work birds.  In the house, she is as calm as can be, very biddable and eager to please.  She comes from a top notch pedigree, boasting many Hall of Fame Brittanys and National Champions.

The litter is sired by Wild Mtns Strickley Hunter.  Hunter has some field trial placements but spends most of his time in the rocky outcroppings in Northern Nevada in search of the wily chukar.  Hunter is outstanding in the field, with a keen nose, nice range for a foot hunter, and exceptional natural retrieve.  Hunter is a wonderful house dog as well.  Hunter comes from a long line of Dual Champions, Hall of Fame Dogs and National Champions.

Both dogs have had all health screenings including OFA Hip Certification.  We are expecting both orange and liver colored pups, possibly tri color.  Field trial/NSTRA/Hunting and Show prospects expected.  To learn more about these dogs, see more pics & pedigrees, and to inquire about a puppy from the litter, please call, email, or visit our website:
