If you are a hunter from South Dakota or someone who frequently hunts there, this is the place for you.  You can share information about hunting throughout the state or talk about anything you'd like.  Introduce yourself and get to know more about hunting in the great state of South Dakota. So, welcome and enjoy!

I just got my SD hunters information packet in the mail. I've got it the last couple of years and I'm hoping to pull the trigger on a trip out there soon. I'm only a 7 hour drive from being in prime pheasant hunting territory.

    Hello all,

We had a few groups of hunters give up their reserved places for Pheasant Hunting this coming season and we would like to know if anyone would enjoy a trip to South Dakota. We have 2000+ acres of prime hunting ground and have always provided an amazing hunting experience. We had our limits everyday last season even though everyone had troubles because of crops not being out and bad weather. (we do not release birds! this hunting is completely for wild birds!) It didn't slow us down one bit and I believe this coming season will be just as impressive. We also raise Labrador Retrievers from some of the best bloodlines in the country today....so we can provide the dogs or you are more than welcome to bring your own! We are having a litter here shortly too so if anyone is looking for a new hunting partner feel free to check out our website: www.fallinskieskennel.com. Please contact us at hunterspup@gmail.com or feel free to call anytime...605-770-6781.

    Thanks so much!

The 2010 SD wild pheasant season has been excellent at Ringneck Retreat. With large numbers of wild birds offering plenty of shooting oppurtunities for everyone and loads of birds for the dogs to do their thing. The close of the season is just around the corner and we are offering hunts at unheared of discounts to fill remaining open days. These late season hunts are very exciting with large flushes and big fully mature fast flying birds. If anyone is interested check it out at www.ringneckretreat.com or call 605-350-1966.
