Did everyone see the numbers for the stocking of pheasants in PA this year, I think it was somewhere around the 15,000 mark throughout the whole state.  Looks like we all should look into joining a private club because that's just about the only way we will be able to hunt pheasants and actually see anything!

I went out several times. By myself I heard a lot of people shooting, but didn't see any birds. I met up with a guy at the game lands outside Marysville in Perry County and his dog didn't even get the scent of anything.

I moved to southern York County and there aren't any game lands close to my house but luckily family has land to go duck and goose hunting on. Tomorrow I'm going to a field where they saw about 300 birds sitting on in the early evening yesterday. I am pretty excited!

I started pheasant hunting Jersey last year and gave up on pheasants here. They stock almost every week and sometimes multiple times in a week for a 2 month season. I usually limit out every trip with my lab by myself compared to 6 hunts last year in PA where I managed 1 Rooster and that is the only bird scented or flushed.
