Hi all, I'm looking for lodging in central to south-central ND for the last week in October, maybe Gackle area.  This is for 3 hunters and dogs.  Have been running into dead ends for a while and would really appreciate some leads.  Thanks.

Your best bet if you are looking to hunt the Gackle area is to stay in Jamestown. Since you have dogs I suggest you stay at the Jamestown Motel. It isnt anything pretty but they allow dogs and have doors that allow to step right outside for the dogs. I said it isnt pretty and is around $40 a night. You will have about a half hour or so drive to Gackle so its not so bad. I will worn you the season has been tough on the Roosters in this area. We stayed in Jamestown last year for opener and hunted everywhere south of there (including Gackle) it wasnt bad but afraid this year will be a lot worse. If you want to get into some more birds I suggest you head a bit more west.
