    Hello,

I get the opportunity to go to SD this fall to hunt pheasant from Ohio. I have a trained GSP and want to hunt self guided. I am concerned about finding areas to hunt and how to go about finding these areas. Any information, need to know's, do and don'ts, etc would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Thanks,

    Adam

Check out the SD Game Fish and Parks website or the App for public hunting areas. The Mitchell, Huron, Redfield, and Aberdeen areas are all very good. You can really get on the birds even on public grounds in those areas.
