If you are a hunter from Iowa or someone who frequently hunts there, this is the place for you. You can share information about hunting throughout the state or talk about anything you'd like. Introduce yourself and get to know more about hunting in the great state of Iowa. So, welcome and enjoy!

Count me in!  I love to get back to my second home.  I went to school here and I get back a couple of times a year to hunt with old classmates or family and friends.  Great people and a great state.

Although I am not from Iowa, I hunt there at least once or twice a year. I'm in as well an "Iowa Cheese Head"

I hope you have good places to hunt because I can guarantee you that Iowa is not even close to the pheasant hunting state which she used to be.
The dog will always prove you wrong!

That may be true, but Pheasant hunting in my state is still nowhere near what it is in Iowa.

I'll be out there 2nd week of Dec. and wondering if I should bring the dog and hunting gear? Will be staying in the fairfield area.

Bo that depends. If you are coming out for a family reunion, yes bring them. If you are coming out for a funeral, yes bring them. If you are coming out for a wedding, yes bring them. I hope you're starting to see a pattern here.

The only time I would not bring my dog and gear is if your breathing has stopped. In that case call 911 first.
