Illinois Upland Series
The Illinois Upland is conducted on-foot as a shoot-to-retrieve competitive pheasant hunting tournament under real hunting conditions with live birds, real guns, and real hunters.
NO horses or snap caps, THIS IS NOT A FIELD TRIAL. Points at regular season Regional Events add up towards qualifying in the annual Illinois Upland Championship held in March of each year. - three divisions under each class (6 total);
- Top Gun (1 man, 1 dog)
- Amatuer (2 man, 1 dog)
- Puppy (1-man or 2-man with one dog)
- 10 acre square competition area (each division)
The Illinois upland series is a very social, fun & friendly competitive atmosphere
NO upfront membership fees required. NO local politics; centrally organized, consistant Local club guides/owners cannot compete at hosted Regional in same Class. We offer confirmed run times.
