We are a country family that lives and ranches in rural Northeast Oklahoma, near Pryor. We are within an hours drive from Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas. Texas is only a 4 hour drive away. My husband is a feed representative and I am a high school science teacher. We have 2 sons, 23 and 20. Our oldest will graduated from OSU with a major in electrical engineering. Our youngest will graduate from Northeastern A&M College in the spring and begin at OSU in the fall. He judged horses and is majoring in Agricultural Engineering. My husband and I continue to be active with our local FFA chapter. We have horses, cattle and of course our dogs. Our family has always loved animals and each and every animal on the place has a name and is a pet. We have been raising quality dogs for over 20 years. Our farm is a family affair and everyone pitches in. If you get a puppy from us you can be sure that it has been loved, played with and thoroughly spoiled before you ever get a chance to spoil it. My 5 and 2 year old nephews love the puppies and our grown dogs. We take them to the pond or out to play fetch every time they come to visit.
We have been raising Labrador Retrievers for 22 years. We have bought our males from Kellogg Kennels and our females are from a line that we began with 21 years ago. We have Kellogg field champion bloodlines in our females. All of our Labradors carry the pointing gene. We breed for brains, brawn, and conformation and our Labradors will make great pets or hunters. Our male, Dakota, has been hunted in the field and he has been to a couple of hunt tests. Mallie has been hunted for two seasons now and loves everything about it. All of our dogs love to retrieve and love the water. Our Labradors are AKC papered. We hunt ducks in some beautiful bottom land here in Northeast Oklahoma and our quail we find in western Oklahoma, western Kansas, and sometime Texas. Dakota has also hunted Dove in Kansas.
We began raising Dachshunds 6 years ago because we love the Dachshund breed. We particularly love the Dachshunds for their big dog in a little body mentality. We bought great Dachshund breeding stock with lots of color and great personalities and have had many compliments on the brains and look of our Dachshund puppies. Our dogs all love to play and are very outgoing and social. They get along great with each other and play with the Labradors also. Our Dachshunds are miniatures and have AKC papers. We have Piebald, Reds, Chocolates, Brindles and Dapples in both long and short coat varieties.
