Brittany Dog Breeders

The Brittany, a member of the spaniel family, is a pointer that is often referred to as just a Brit. The Brit has long coat and short tail and averages around 35 lbs. Brits are better natural retrievers then English pointers or Setters and typically like to work close to the handler. Brittany Spaniels are popular with both pheasant and quail hunters.

The English pointer is the original southern quail dog and often just referred to as just “pointer”. English pointers have a short coat that suite them well in warmer southern climates. The English Pointer averages around 50 Lbs. English pointers are not natural retrievers and often need to be taught to retrieve through force fetching

The Weimaraner is a short haired German pointing dog that weighs around 60 pounds. This breed has great stamina and they are typically skilled retrievers. Weimaraners have silver gray short coats and blue gray eyes with a docked tail.

Wire Haired Griffon Dog Breeders

The Griffon is a native of Holland that has a stiff curly coat that helps protect them in the field. Griffon’s tails are docked when they are young and average around 60 lbs. The griffon is just as at home retrieving waterfowl as it is pointing at pheasants. The tend to work a bit slower then some of the other pointing breeds and like to stay close to the handler.
