Honadore is a hobby (non-commercial) breeder smack in the middle of a large city close to Lake St. Clair in Michigan. We have been involved with AKC Labradors Retrievers since 1978, and before that enjoyed the company of several Golden Retrievers and Irish Setters. While many picture the ideal setting for a Labrador Retriever to be a large piece of property in the country… our Labradors are bred to adapt to all kinds of environments… which in turn has produced a number of outstanding service dogs, therapy dogs, hunting dogs, search and rescue dogs, obedience dogs, show dogs, and best of all… loving friends to children and families.
