Come hunt "The Ridge” where beautiful hard flying pheasants roam between two distinct habitats that make up the Fruitridge Pheasant Farm. Located just 10 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, you can choose between "Creek Bottom" and "Old Orchard". For a true wild bird hunting experience try the “Creek Bottom”, which is not only a challenge because of Indian Mill Creek cutting through the farm, but the rolling hills that rise above with its varying terrain. Besides the cover you'd expect to find along a "Creek Bottom", the rolling hills are planted with alfalfa, sorghum, corn, switch grasses and along with several swales there is even a small apple orchard. Excellent field is available for more experienced hunters who are looking a challenge in a truly unique setting. Your dogs should be very experience and be in good physical condition. Fruitridge Pheasant Farm (FPF) is open to Membership and the Public. If you hunt a lot of birds and/or are wanting to train your dog then a Membership to FPF is for you. See our Membership page for more info. FPF specializes in half day field hunts and European hunts catering to the West Michigan hunter. Our facilities can accommodate most any request from half day to all day hunts, catering special meals and we offer private meeting rooms. Our farm is just 10 minutes from I 196 & US 131 interchange. We conveniently located, so if you live around the Grand Rapids area you can actually spend just half your day hunting. FPF leases 314 acres of the John Coffee farm, which is the second oldest family owned farm in Alpine township dating back to 1839. We offer two hunts in two distinctively different settings that are only separated by Fruit Ridge Avenue. So once you’re checked-in, you’re huntin’! Our farm is so big even though you’re just minutes from the city, you’ll think you’re hours away once you start hunting. So book a hunt now and bring some friends, your gun and some shells for a great time hunting pheasants on “The Ridge”.
