Nestled north of the White Mountains of New Hampshire is a small hobby kennel known as Wood Duck. It is the home of fun loving Labradors and a Rottie who thinks she is a Labrador and their owner, Jeanne Charest. Currently living at Wood Duck is Hannah, Mariah, Izy,Emma,Onyx,Morgan,Monica,Oprah and Georgia.
Wood Duck has one to two litters a year and tries to produce pups of correct type and temperament suited for conformation, obedience and hunt work but mostly as family and personal companions. An occasional older dog may be available.
I work as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and do teach household and competition obedience. I am also an AKC obedience judge approved to judge Novice, Open and Non-Regular and currently provisional for Utility classes.
I am a member of Carroll County Kennel Club and serve as its Show Chair and Corresponding Sec., Labrador Retriever Club and served as its Obedience Chair for the 2002 and 2005 National Specialty, Labrador Retriever Club of Greater Boston and have served as its Obedience Chair and the Atlantic Labrador Retriever Club (Canada). I am also listed in the New Hampshire's Breeder Directory.
