Here at Ringneck Preserve, our dogs and guides are familiar with the terrain and how best to hunt the birds. The rolling terrain is planted with corn, millet, sorghum, switch grass, various legumes and many native species of plants providing both abundant food and cover. Everything here is well worth the cost and you will be pleased with the excellent results. We encourage hunters to bring their own dogs as half the enjoyment is seeing your dog work the birds. This in turn encourages game to stay in the area. Birds are raised at the preserve and are in prime condition. The Typical hunting area at Ringneck Preserve and Prime game bird nesting habitat and cover are so gorgeous would definitely come back. Good dogs, plenty of birds and a beautiful fall day. It doesn't get any better than this! Quail hold well to pointing dogs and present a fast, elusive target. Quail congregate in coveys and flush in every direction requiring excellent marksmanship. First day hunts from tree stands or ground blinds. We also have Second day driven hunts. Noon meal provided at clubhouse each day.
