We were drawn to this breed many years ago, desiring to own a versatile dog which was equally superior as a companion in the field and house. We have participated in many activities, including tracking, obedience, hunting, hunt tests and showing in the breed conformation ring. CH. Duckback’s Hi- Hope, CD, MH was the 6th AKC Champion Master Hunter, CD in the history of the breed; thus demonstrating not only the ability to conform to the standard, but also excelling in the hunt test venue.
Our dogs have served as Guide dogs for the blind, hunting companions, obedience titled dogs, participants in conformation shows, and most important, being a loyal and faithful companion
