Jul 26, 2005 - (Auburn, IN 7/26/05)--
Dekalb Indiana County Zoning Appeals Board has approved a request to operate a controversial hunting preserve.
The Zoning board last night granted Richard and Rebecca Reed a petition to develop about 150 acres of land on State Road 1, near County Road 60, into a preserve where elk, boar, pheasant and quail would be hunted.
The Reeds were also given permission to build a barn to be used before and after hunts, which could begin in September.
