From the 14 February until the 16 February, Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever hosted its annual National Pheasant Fest and Quail Classic event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pheasants Forever  land acquisition in Wisconsin follows up Pheasant Fest
Several conservation partners including Pheasants Forever have acquired a 204 acre parcel of restored wetlands and grasslands in St. Croix County, Wisconsin. According to a press release by Pheasants Forever the land could be open to public hunting by the fall of 2009.
