The Hackamore offers some of the best native quail habitat in all of Western Oklahoma. We hunt the woody cover of the sandsage grasslands along the Beaver River to the shinnery oak motts of the North Fork of the Red River. Habitat includes woody cover such as sagebrush, sumac, sand plum, and shinnery oak.
