We are a new preserve in central Alabama. We are primarily focused on duck, pheasant, and quail hunting. We also have a brand new 2100 square foot shooting range with 10 electronic throwing machines at 3 stations. These machines are electronicaly adjustable to your level. We will have a sport clay course in the near future. We have several hunting events and shooting competitions. We are located in Plantersville, Alabama just one hour from Birmingham and Montgomery. What is Great Southern Outdoors sporting clay course? It is nothing but fun!! Sporting clay shooting is a fast growing sport, and Great Southern Outdoors has created a course that provides a shooter a 12 station round of enjoyment.
Every hunter loves to pull the trigger, but a lot of times you sit on a dove bucket waiting for a bird to fly by, or maybe in a tree climber hoping that whitetail deer will walk by. A sporting clay course provides you the opportunity to shoot 100 times at different targets when you tell your personal trapper to "pull". Every station presents a new and exciting challenge. No matter if you have never experienced a sporting clay course, or you are a member of a sporting clay trail, Great Southern Outdoors promises to provide a round of absolute fun.

Greenway Sportsman Club is located just 45 minutes from Montgomery, Auburn, Opelika and Troy, Alabama and Columbus Ga. and only 2 1/2 hours from Atlanta, Ga and 1 1/2 hours from Birmingham, Alabama. They offer all types of hunting and sporting clays including quail, deer and turkey hunts, good fishing and just a great place to get away for the weekend. They also do receptions, birthdays, corporate meetings, family reunions or any type gathering you need. They can taylor a package just right for you. Located only eight minutes from the state capitol this complex has a fully automatic sporting clays course, a state of the art five stand, a wobble trap, and a skeet range. This is a private club but one day memberships are available to any one wanting to try us out before joining. The prices are the most reasonable in Alabama. | Shoal River Sporting Clays and Shooting Center offers a 12 station Sporting Clays course, Skeet Range, 5-Stand, Wobble Trap, and a 100 yd Rifle and 25 yd Pistol Range. Our sporting goods store offers a wide range of reloading supplies, targets, safety gear, ammo, scopes, and new and used rifles, shotguns and pistols. We are a licensed FFL dealer and can ship/receive weapons from other FFL dealers.
We offer limited gunsmith services to include bore sighting, scope mounting, sighting in rifles and pistols, installing various upgrades and weapon cleaning/lubrication services.
Shoal River Sporting Clays and Shooting Center is located 7 miles east of Crestview Florida on Hwy. 90 or 7 miles west of SR 285 and I 10 on Hwy. 90. Shoal River covers 73 acres of pine and scrub oak and offers a great range to all shooting enthusiasts. Memberships are available but not required. Reservations are not required. Watch our calendar of events for registered Sporting Clays and Skeet Tournaments. We are open Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sunday from 10:00 to 5:00. Saturdays from 9:00 to 5:00. |

| White Oak Plantation is recognized as one of the top sporting clays courses in the nation. The course winds through lush woodlands, around a thirteen acre lake, amid beautiful rolling hills, pine and oak hardwood forests. Every effort has been made to retain the natural beauty of the land, not disturb the bountiful wildlife that abounds here and still give the shooter, whether beginner or expert, a challenging experience. This is a completely automatic "state of the art" course with 14 stations that provide challenging shots for all skill levels. The stations are changed monthly to provide a different look for Shooting Members and event shooters, as well.
The essence of the White Oak experience is the likelihood of discovering a deer fawn that has no fear of humans, flushing a family of bobwhite quail that reside there, having a raccoon or possum wander through, seeing deer at the feeder while you shoot the Five Stand or stop to let a flock of turkeys move through. There have been 10 generations of wildlife that have been born on the clays course.
Five Stand and Wobble Sporting Clays course
Both of these game stations give the shooter an opportunity to practice before a clays event, a quail hunt or any time that there is a need to polish shooting skills. If a shooter is pushed for time, this is the answer. Both the Five Stand and the Wobble may be completed with 25 targets and may be shot in a short period of time. They are also both invaluable for teaching the beginner or helping an experienced shooter work out a shooting problem. |

The ASCA is a non-profit organization managed by its members. We do not have a paid staff. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun and affordable way to shoot sporting clays. Range and shooting grounds owners also are members to help promote the sport. ASCA schedules the Alabama Trail, the Trail Championship and manages the Alabama State Championship.
