Caney Bottom Hunting Lodge is the south's newest full service hunting facility. We are here to show you some good ole fashion southern hospitality. We have pits sunk in flooded rice fields, skid blinds in some good hide-a-way potholes, and if mother nature smiles on us, some great flooded timber hunting. Hay bales over rolling pastures and milo fields just after harvest make this a dove shooters' paradise. A game bird preserve is in the planning stages and will hopefully be in operation by mid November. Our kennel is a full service training and breeding facility built with retrievers in mind. We also offer obedience training for all breeds. Upland bird hunting in the wild around here is a thing of the past. Here at Caney Bottom Lodge we have come up with the next best thing. This is our first year in the game bird resort and what a fun thing it has turned out to be. While it is not west Texas or Kansas it is still a truly awesome to sit back and watch the dogs work. The resort offers early and late season hunting. We have large rolling pasture land so when the birds outwit your shooting skills you have a chance to try them one or two more times.
