Hunting is by reservation only Oct. 1 - April 15 Wisconsin thin designated areas of 40 to 80 acres each per group of 1 to 4 hunters. Additional acreage available on slower days. There are no set hours other than morning hunts start no earlier than 8:OO a.m. and end at noon. Afternoon hunts are from 12:3O to 5:OO. Pheasant, Hungarian Partridge and Chukar Partridge are available for release. Wern Valley has production and holding facilities for over 30,000 game birds. Jilin strain pheasant recently imported from China are super hearty and flight conditioned. |
