The Robert J. Lytle Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society (RGS) will conduct a Habitat Improvement Project at the Deford State Game Area, Tuscola County, MI, on Saturday, February 25, 2012, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

According to John Paige, volunteers will meet at the Deford State Game Area parking lot at the corner of Duprey and Severance roads at 8:30 a.m. Participants are advised to wear work clothes and sturdy boots, and bring gloves, pruning saws, loppers, chainsaws, bow saws and lots of ambition. Lunch will be provided.
